Two teachers with 12 years of combined tutoring experience had a dream and this dream of IQ Tutoring began. These two inspired teachers were busy post-secondary students working part time at established tutoring companies in order to help fund their educational careers. Though both loved working with their students, they were continually frustrated with the poor communication from their coordinators and felt they lacked access to resources that would greatly help their students and in addition increase their own teaching skills.

IQ Tutoring was founded on the belief that by providing extensive support (professional and personal development) to quality tutors, this would allow for students to learn and excel in their academic endeavors. While each of our academic specialists enter the company with significant background knowledge of the subject they teach and teaching experience, IQ Tutoring allows them to further their teaching skills by providing to them an extensive collection academic materials. Each tutor has access to our resource library stocked with current Alberta Board of Education curriculum materials and in addition converses daily with the teaching directors for tutoring development. Personal evaluations are requested from each client every academic semester in order for us to further work with each tutor on improve their educational approach.
